Aimee and I have had so much fun dreaming up new Young Whimsy clothing for your children. When we started to talk about fall, we knew we wanted several great long sleeve tops that could match back to our versatile spring pieces. After all, the best children's clothing is the sort that can work in different combinations all year round.
The color palette came to life by imagining campfire nights, crunchy leaves, dusty skies, and foggy beach mornings. I also really wanted one great fabric that could be used as trim on each and every piece to give a signature look to our fall line. Stone Stripe works perfectly with each piece.

We are using our same wonderful cotton gauze quality and hand dyeing it with less variation than our spring colors, but still enough to make it special. We are also introducing a 100% 4.5 oz linen quality in our hand dyeds, and I could not be more thrilled with how it washes and wears.
Aimee was looking for the perfect fall layering piece for her little girl’s wardrobe, and our Long Sleeve Isabella Blouse was born. Made of Copper hand dyed cotton gauze, this top has a slight bell sleeve with elastic at the cuff for a long-lasting fit, a button loop at back neck and contrast Stone Stripe binding at the neckline. Pair it with skirts or layer under dresses, jumpers and pinafores.
We really wanted to make special pieces this season that are unique but will fit in with the rest of your child’s wardrobe. Our Twirl And Play Skirt in Stone Stripe has a sweet scalloped hem and elastic at the back waistband with flat front waist and bow. Comfort and cuteness!
What’s better than a ruffled pinafore? How about one made of hand dyed linen with contrast Stone Stripe binding? Our Twinkle Pinafore Dress has a contrast edge on the bib pocket and ruffle, flat front waist, elastic back waist, and adjustable straps so it can grow with your child.
We didn’t forget our boys, tomboys and anybody else that wants to look cute and comfy! Our Long Sleeve Essential Henley in Stone Stripe has a front button placket and patch chest pocket with bias bound edge. Pair it with any of our great Roll-Up Pants and you’ve got yourself a fun sibling set for family photos.
Our Long Sleeve Isabella Blouse comes in Mauve, too.
